Examples of appropriate attire:
Anything comfortable in which the dancer can move. Leggings, sport shorts, leotards, fitted T-shirts, tank tops, tights, yoga pants, etc are all acceptable examples. At no time should a dancer be wearing jeans, bra tops, shorts with no tights, dresses with nothing underneath, tights by themselves, etc.
Hair must be secured out of face.
Shoes:
Ballet/Lyrical: Ballet shoes (Ballet pink or black are easiest to find)
Jazz/Hip Hop: Jazz shoes (Black or Tan are easiest to find)
Tap: Black Oxford tie tap shoes
Boys Hip Hop: Clean sneakers that are never worn outside
