Our competition program is by invitation, however, we will consider requests of those who are interested in joining our competition teams.
Dancers must be at least four years old. If they are a current dancer at EM’s their attendance must be in good standing (at least 90%)
In order to request a solo, duet or trio, dancers must be in a minimum of two group dances.
All families must read, agree to and follow all the competitive policies & expectations. Any deviation from these expectations by dancers or grown ups is cause for dismissal from the program.
There are currently 6 teams that each have different requirements:
SPARK
Must participate in one jazz team and two forty-five minute classes once per week. Acro is optional, but encouraged.
IGNITE
Must participate in a tap team and jazz team, one acro classes per week and two technique classes per week.
Must attend three competitions, the competitive team sneak preview, one convention and the annual recital which includes the finale number.
DYNAMIC
Must participate in tap team and jazz team, production team, one ballet class per week, one acro class per week and two technique classes per week.
Hip Hop team & lyrical team are optional.
Must attend the competitive team sneak preview, three competitions, one convention and the annual recital which includes the finale number.
MOMENTUM
Must participate in tap team & jazz team, production team one ballet class per week, one acro class per week, and two technique classes per week.
Optional styles: Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater

VELOCITY
Must participate in tap team & jazz team, production team, one ballet class per week, one acro class per week and two technique classes per week.
