My daughter, Emily, has been at EM’s Dance Center since 5 years old. She started during the dreadful year of 2020 when everything felt uncertain and she was the only little girl in her Thursday night class. Even then, she was welcomed, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. Now at 10, I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. EM’s has helped her not only dance, but camaraderie, how to support and uplift other dancers, and pushing forward even when she’s scared, tired or unsure of herself. These lessons extend far beyond the studio. Watching her grow in confidence and skill has been such a gift, and we’re so grateful to be part of the EM’s Dance Center family.

My son is in his fourth year of dancing at EM’s. What started as just something for him to do ,has turned into a second family. The classes focus on technique, while still having fun. Ms. Emily and the rest of the staff are very supportive and have encouraged him every step of the way. They have helped him build his confidence and love for dance. I couldn’t imagine him dancing anywhere else!

A few years ago, our very small, hometown dance studio in Racine closed. After the last curtain call my girls and I began our journey of looking for a new dance family to join. We happened to stumble upon EM’s Dance Center and quickly set up a time to meet with the owner, Emily Morrison. We couldn’t have been any luckier. From the moment we walked into the studio, it felt like it could be our new home. The girls were welcomed with loving arms, the staff couldn’t have been more enthusiastic to take them in, and the studio itself was small, bright, yet professional. Since then, both my daughters have been competing with EM’s Dance Center; this is their 3rd year, and since they’ve started I’ve seen them both grow in their technique, their confidence, and in their leadership skills. They’ve taken on challenging dance styles that they wouldn’t have normally done. They’ve attempted duets and solos with tricks and turns that they weren’t able to master in previous years. They’ve continued to grow to love dance and have been shown and demonstrated what it means to be dedicated to a sport they love. My oldest has even been given the opportunity to help assist and teach classes for younger students and continues to thrive in her leadership skills. We couldn’t be more happy to have landed at EM’s Dance Center and are so excited for the years to come!

My daughter has been dancing with EM’s for the last five years. I was nervous to take the leap into the competitive team because of how shy she was, but I am so grateful we did. The growth we’ve seen has been incredible. She is now a confident, outgoing kid and a true leader. The teaching staff is kind, supportive, and holds dancers to high expectations, which has helped bring out all of her best qualities while also instilling a strong work ethic and the importance of teamwork.
